2018 CWC SHORT STORY COMPETITION
Updated: May 4, 2018
2018 has welcomed new members to the Cardiff Writers' Circle, and with them came a wide and colourful variety of writing styles. This year we are encouraging members new and old to enter the second CWC writing competition of the year.
Our annual short story competition's only limits are the word count. Works of all genres are welcome to enter, whether it be horror, comedy, or even a little romance.
The word count is 2500 words, and entries are due on or before May 21st, ahead of the adjudication on June 25th.
The entry fee is £3 per story, and the competition will be adjudicated by Welsh author Phil Carradice. The first place winner, and two runners up will receive Waterstones vouchers - the perfect prize for a bibliophile!
So stretch those fingers out and get that creativity flowing... the clock is ticking!
